Psychiatrist, is Director of Clinic for Psychiatry, Clinic Center of Serbia and Chief of department for scientific work and early interventions in the field of psychiatry. She is Assistant Professor on Faculty of Medicine, University in Belgrade, general Secretary of the Association of Psychiatrists of Serbia, president of Association for Biological psychiatry (Serbia), and Committee member of the European Psychiatric Association for education. Her occupation is treatment of psychosis and mood disorders and she advocates implementation of methods for early interventions in psychiatry. And her scientific work is based on interdisciplinary cooperation within national projects of the Ministry for science, but in the same time she intensively and continuously cooperates with European centers where she was educated (Holland, Germany, Great Britain) in researching of GXE interactions in etiology of psychotic and affective disorders.

For research about psychotic symptoms in general population dr Maric has been awarded by European Psychiatric Association in 2004.for the best research work published in the international journal, while as a coordinator of the EEPSI group, whose aim was to research the course of full psychiatric recovery, she was awarded by World Psychiatric Association in 2005.

She is author and co-author of over 30 scientific and research works published in international journals, cited more them 150 times.
